The Melka CJ Cabernet Sauvignon is a highly regarded wine that showcases the expertise and craftsmanship of winemaker Philippe Melka. On the nose, the Melka CJ Cabernet Sauvignon offers enticing aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark chocolate. These rich and intense aromas are complemented by hints of cedar, forest floor, and a touch of vanilla. The palate of this wine is full-bodied and velvety, with well-integrated tannins that provide structure and balance. Flavors of ripe black fruits, such as black cherry and plum, dominate the palate, accompanied by notes of graphite and a subtle earthiness. The wine's long and lingering finish leaves a lasting impression. Its complexity and depth make it a perfect choice for special occasions or for those who appreciate the finer things in life.

Ghanen
Full bodied and supple wine with a deep, deep berry and floral character, matched by a supple and satisfying finish. A perfect pairing for a variety of dishes, showcasing the salmon that was served alongside it.
Mirze
Lush and balanced cab that is remarkably old-world in character, with a elegant restraint on the tannins that allows the opaque fruit accents to shine through.
Fayadem
We have found the 2016 to be overly tannic and lacking in depth, a disappointing return for the price paid.

Melka CJ Cabernet Sauvignon is praised for its rich, full-bodied character and complex flavors of dark berries, floral notes, and subtle spices. While many appreciate its smooth texture and well-balanced tannins, some find certain vintages overly tannic or lacking depth. The wine's ability to age well is noted, with suggestions of pairing it with robust dishes. Overall, it is a sophisticated choice for wine enthusiasts.
