Matthews Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Voluptuous and intricate wine with a promising future, boasting a dominant nose of rich fruits, spice, and vanilla, which are expertly balanced by a smooth, fruity finish.

Truly stellar wine that has been expertly aged to perfection. Its well-rounded and nuanced profile has been fully revealed after a 30-minute decanting process, underscoring a graceful symmetry of red and deep fruits, with a luscious and savory mid-palate and a delightful tannin backbone in the background. whereas its current age may be a drawback, it is clear that this wine will only continue to improve with time. A true gem that is well worth the investment.

Marked improvement over the 2017 vintage, boasting bold and luxurious tastes of ripe red and black fruit.
