Voss Expert tasting note
The nose is greeted with a complex bouquet of dark fruits, such as blackberry and plum, layered with spicy notes of black pepper and clove, alongside hints of forest floor and dark chocolate, a reflection of its time spent in oak.

Well-balanced and structured wine with a harmonious blend of plum, blueberry, and oak notes, accompanied by a delicate impression of leather and pepper, making it an comforting and gratifying experience.
Erbol Runnings
The wine is a deep and layered experience, with a hearty and full-bodied structure that blankets the palate. The bold undertones are evocative of a rugged and seasoned individual, in contrast the grip provides a sense of stability and endurance. The length is impressive, with a lingering tail that leaves a prolonged impression. I would recommend leaving it to mature for a period of time to allow the tones to unfold and reveal their depth.

Matsu El Viejo is celebrated for its rich, full-bodied profile with deep fruit flavors like blackberry, plum, and cherry, complemented by oak, vanilla, and leather notes. While some find it well-balanced and smooth, others feel it needs more aging to fully develop. The wine's robust tannins and long finish are often highlighted, making it a favorite for pairing with hearty dishes.
It boasts a deep, intense ruby color, indicative of its concentration and richness. The nose is greeted with a complex bouquet of dark fruits, such as blackberry and plum, layered with spicy notes of black pepper and clove, alongside hints of forest floor and dark chocolate, a reflection of its time spent in oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and powerful, yet maintains a graceful balance with polished tannins and a vibrant acidity. Flavors of ripe fruit blend with notes of espresso, balsamic, and a minerality that speaks to its terroir. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a lasting impression of elegance and sophistication.
