Markou Retsina presents a luminous straw hue, characteristic of its Greek heritage. The nose offers a distinctive bouquet of pine resin, harmoniously interwoven with notes of lemon zest and green apple, suggesting a vibrant freshness. On the palate, this wine reveals a medium-bodied structure, where the resinous quality is balanced by a crisp acidity, creating a refreshing mouthfeel. Subtle hints of saline minerality add depth, while the finish is clean and brisk, leaving a lingering impression of citrus and herbal nuances. This Retsina exemplifies the traditional style with a modern finesse, ideal for pairing with Mediterranean cuisine.

Markou Retsina is a traditional Greek wine crafted from the Savatiano grape, grown in the Attica region's warm Mediterranean climate. The wine is distinguished by the addition of pine resin during fermentation, a method that imparts a distinctive herbal and resinous character. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine's fresh and vibrant profile. This dry, crisp wine offers a balance of citrus fruit flavors with a subtle piney undertone, making it an ideal pairing for Mediterranean cuisine. Markou Retsina is best enjoyed young to appreciate its lively and refreshing nature.
