Notable step forward from 2013, with a smoother, more pleasant character and a slightly reduced tannic presence. The addition of blood orange adds a welcome intensity to the palate. as the tannins remain, they are still perceptible. A standout between the two is a difficult one, but ultimately, 2012 is the better option.

While some appreciate its smooth tannins and elegant structure, others find certain vintages overly tannic or lacking in complexity. The wine is often described as well-balanced and suitable for aging, with a long, satisfying finish. It pairs well with hearty dishes and is considered a good representation of the Barbaresco style.
