This Pouilly-Fuissé presents a luminous straw hue, indicative of its vibrant character. The bouquet unfurls with precision, revealing layers of ripe white peach, honeysuckle, and a subtle flintiness, underscored by whispers of toasted almond and brioche. On the palate, it is impeccably balanced, showcasing a harmonious interplay between its creamy texture and brisk acidity. The mineral backbone is a testament to its terroir, enhancing the wine's complexity and length. The finish is elegantly persistent, with a lingering note of citrus zest and a touch of saline minerality, marking it as a quintessential expression of the Mâconnais.

This Pouilly-Fuissé is crafted by the Sambardier family at Manoir du Carra, located in the heart of the Mâconnais region in Burgundy, France. The vineyard benefits from a continental climate with warm summers and cool winters, ideal for Chardonnay. Grapes are hand-harvested and undergo fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and varietal purity. A portion of the wine is aged in oak barrels, adding subtle complexity without overpowering the fruit. The result is a balanced wine with crisp acidity, showcasing notes of citrus, white peach, and a hint of minerality, suitable for immediate enjoyment or short-term cellaring.
