This Barolo reveals a deep garnet hue, indicative of its noble pedigree. The bouquet is a symphony of rose petals, tar, and red cherry, underscored by hints of anise and forest floor. On the palate, it showcases a formidable structure with firm, yet refined tannins and a vibrant acidity that promises longevity. The flavors unfold in layers, offering blackcurrant and dried herbs, evolving into a savory, truffle-infused finish. This wine exemplifies the classic Serralunga d'Alba terroir, with its profound complexity and age-worthy potential, making it a benchmark for traditional Barolo enthusiasts.

Fouad
Intense and full-bodied wine with a lively, energetic character, its layered flavor profile is outlined by a mix of sweet and savory notes, consisting of cherry, plum, and earthy undertones, with subtle undertones of menthol and tobacco.
Ledru
Luigi's legacy lives on through his estate, with G.D. Vajra's stewardship ensuring the land remains fertile and productive. The 2019 Barolo is a testament to the region's enduring tradition, with its characteristic rose petal, sour cherry, and camphor or eucalyptus notes. The delicate wisp of vanilla adds depth, making this wine a compelling highlight for those looking for a classic expression. The consistent ruby color is a welcome respite from the region's typical brown hues.
Cecilie
Refined, classic Barolo, with a strong presence, but also a Serralunga powerhouse with a rich, silky feel and a subtle, earthy undertone, making it a challenging but rewarding experience for connoisseurs. A young and tightly wound wine, it requires patience to fully appreciate its nuances, but when opened, it reveals a complex, layered character that rewards careful consideration. A perfect pairing for a formal dinner, it demands a glass of generous size to fully express its dimension and complexity.
