Lillian Gold Series Syrah 2018

Lillian and its sister winery Antica Terra are a stalwart addition to our 'never leave' wine clubs/mailing lists. This Syrah is a behemoth of a wine, boasting an abundance of intense fruits, cinnamon, and dried meats, all wrapped in a rich, polished feel and a deep, smoky undertone. and yet it is currently quite lush and smooth, it shows a dash of heat that suggests it may require another 2+ years to reach its full potential. The winemaker, Maggie Harrison, is a master of her craft, and her wines are always a safe bet. The wine is a stunning achievement, and we highly recommend it.
