Graeme & Julie Bott Lieu Dit l'Aleau Condrieu 2020

Voss Expert tasting note

A luminous pale gold in the glass, this Condrieu presents an intricate bouquet of honeysuckle, ripe apricot, and a whisper of ginger spice, underscored by subtle mineral nuances. On the palate, it unfolds with a luxurious texture, seamlessly balancing opulent stone fruit flavors with a vibrant, citrus-driven acidity. The wine's structure is both elegant and robust, showcasing a deft integration of oak that adds depth without overshadowing its varietal purity. The finish is long and resonant, echoing with notes of white peach and a hint of almond. This is a quintessential expression of Viognier from the Rhône.
