I remain drawn to the crisp, lively qualities of Cold Creek over the rich, full-bodied Chardonnay from Laird. The nose of this bottle is distinguished by a balanced blend of hay and earthy/mineral notes. Both wines possess fantastic trail quality. Laird's Chardonnay is a top notch in its own right.

A decadent and multi faceted Chardonnay from Napa Valley in California, expertly refined with a subtle freshness that cuts through the richness of butter, oak, and caramel, while tones of apple, pear, and citrus add complexity and warmth. The follow through is fresh and dry, with a silky and gentle mouthfeel that covers the palate. A perfect pairing for light flavors, such as scallops and bacon.
