This La Valentina Bellovedere Montepulciano d'Abruzzo (Riserva) is a full-bodied and complex Italian red that offers a deep, ruby-purple color and an inviting nose, with aromas of ripe blackberries and dried herbs. On the palate, the wine has a smooth, velvety texture, with flavors of dark stone fruits and dried spices, balanced by a pleasing, mineral-driven acidity. The finish is long, with lingering notes of ripe blackberries and a hint of forest floor. Enjoy this wine now or cellar it for further complexity.

Rich, full-bodied wine with a fruity profile, but with a slightly harsh finish.
Filip Pispers
Rich, full-bodied wine with a deep, intense color and a nose that's akin to of bold fruit and tobacco. The crispness is dry, but the tannins are well-balanced, giving way to a complex flavor profile that's both bold and refined. The finish is long and satisfying, with a gentle suggestion of oakiness.

Intense and sophisticated wine with a long aging potential, this excellent MDAs is one of the best I've had the pleasure of tasting. With its initial roughness gradually giving way to a smoother finish, it's still quite young, but its potential for development is immense. The nose is centered around by ripe inky fruit, such as blackberries and plum, with accents of leather, vanilla, and coffee. The profile is full-bodied, powerful, and well-balanced, with high tannins, reasonably rounded, and a balanced level of acidity. Additional layers of blackcurrants, blueberries, chocolate, tobacco, and spicy oak add profoundness and complexity, making this a wine that will only continue to improve with time. I highly recommend it for those looking to age and enjoy a rich, full-bodied wine.
