Well-balanced and pleasing wine experience, with a round and smooth finish, and a good generally merit for the price.

Full bodied and full-bodied wine with a deep, reddish-brown color that gradually darkens to a warm orange glow on the rim. The nose is controlled by by vanilla and leather notes, with a soft accent of oak. The wine is clear towards the very rim, with a refined grip that belies its high alcohol content. The follow through is quick and clean, with a lingering sense of vanilla and leather.

Fine Cabernet Sauvignon, a thoughtful gift from Dan, is a exceptional choice for Dad.

What the web is saying

Keenan Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon receives consistent praise for its balanced structure and complex flavor profile. Reviewers highlight notes of blackberry, vanilla, leather, and flinty undertounds paired with velvety texture and well-integrated tannins. While some note its high alcohol content requires patience, others celebrate its immediate drinkability and value. The wine's lingering finish and evolving fruit characteristics (particularly blackberry/red currant progression) impress multiple tasters.

Voss Experts4.0

This deep, full-bodied reserve Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley's Keenan Winery is a bold, complex wine with layers of dark fruit, spice, mocha, and cedar aromas. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, yet elegant, with layers of blackberry and dark cherry flavors that linger through the long, lush finish. Enjoy this wine now or cellar for years to come.
