Journey of rediscovery, the 2017 Joubert Tradauw Alternative Red blend unfolds like a warm, inviting evening. Its deep, deep colour invites contemplation, but the aroma of red fruit and elegant spice flavors whispers secrets of the winery's unassuming past. As the sensation unfurls, a smooth harmony of fruit and tactile quality prevails, evoking the gentle warmth of a crackling fire.

The red tint has mellowed slightly, with a light nuance that adds density to the broadly appearance. Upon closer inspection, the nose reveals a intricate interplay of prune, raisin, and cocoa notes, which are expertly smooth by a racy tanginess that cuts through the earthy undertones. The taste is similarly nuanced, with the addition of more prune and tanin tones that are expertly dried by the acidity, leaving a vibrant finish.
Quadirah Ronnau
Surprisingly deep wine with a rich, full-bodied texture. The bold hints of shiraz emerge with surprising intensity, making it a fabulous highlight for those hunting a more substantial indulging experience. A stonking cost effectiveness for the price, with a lovely full red tinge and medium body.

Joubert Tradauw R62 Alternative Red Blend is appreciated for its deep color, rich aromas of red fruit, spice, and oak, and a smooth, full-bodied texture. While some enjoy its complexity and earthy, mineral flavors, others find it overly concentrated and flinty. The wine features notes of prune, raisin, and cocoa, with a firm tannin structure and balanced acidity, though its appeal varies among drinkers.
This South African red blend presents a deep garnet hue, inviting exploration of its multifaceted bouquet. Aromas of ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry are interwoven with hints of graphite and subtle spice, suggesting a deft use of oak. On the palate, the wine reveals a full-bodied structure, with velvety tannins and a core of concentrated fruit. The acidity is well-balanced, providing lift and length to the finish, which is marked by notes of cocoa and a whisper of dried herbs. This blend is a compelling expression of its terroir, showcasing both elegance and depth.
