The Jacquere wine is made from grapes grown in the mountains south of Geneva, where it exhibits a nose of lime, apple, and beeswax. It is a full-bodied wine, with an alcohol content of 11.5%, due to the genetic makeup of Jacquere, which includes Gouais Blanc, a Central European varietal known for adding body to Chardonnay. The wine is well-crafted, with a high tanginess and a straightforward, uncomplicated character.
