Rich, complex, and long-bodied fortified wine with a rich amber glow and a mild saline undertone, featuring dried fruits and a rich, mellow texture.

Harmonious cohesion of sweet and energetic apple notes, balanced by soft yeasty undertones and a wisp of ripe lemon on the nose, evoking the graceful elegance of Egly-Ouriet Champagne. As the wine unfolds, its round mouthfeel and ample white freshness become apparent, accompanied by gentle oriental spices and a soothing, warming aftertaste. This wine is a deeply meditative experience, one that invites the drinker to slow down and savor its tranquil essence. It is truly a zen experience.

Well-balanced, long-bodied wine with high acidity, giving a well blended and crisp experience.

What the web is saying

This Savagnin from Ganevat offers complex profiles ranging from nutty and oxidative textures to vibrant citrus notes. While praised for its well-balanced structure and energetic acidity, some find the crispness overwhelming. Descriptors highlight saline undertones, apple-lemon harmony, and aged complexity, with diverging opinions on aromatic intensity.

Voss Experts4.5

This Jean François Ganevat Antide Savagnin has an intense golden hue and an intense nose of yellow peach and apricot. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with fresh acidity, and a complex finish of peach, apricot, and subtle hints of floral notes. A beautiful and complex white wine with a great potential for aging.
