What the web is saying

Jean Foillard Morgon is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with vibrant fruit flavors like cherry, strawberry, and raspberry, complemented by earthy and floral notes. While some appreciate its smooth, balanced structure and long finish, others find it lacks complexity or has a slightly sour edge. It's considered a great value, especially for pairing with food, and is noted for its consistent quality across vintages.

Voss Experts4.3

Jean Foillard Morgon is a highly regarded wine from the Beaujolais region of France. This wine is made from 100% Gamay grapes and is known for its elegance and finesse. The nose offers enticing aromas of red berries, such as raspberries and cherries, along with floral notes and a hint of spice. On the palate, Jean Foillard Morgon displays a beautiful balance between fruitiness and acidity, with silky tannins and a long, lingering finish. This wine is often praised for its ability to age gracefully, developing more complex flavors and aromas over time. It pairs well with a variety of dishes, including roasted poultry, grilled meats, and soft cheeses. Overall, Jean Foillard Morgon is a superb example of a well-crafted Beaujolais wine, showcasing the unique terroir of the region.
