Voss Expert tasting note
The nose reveals aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, black pepper, and a hint of violet. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and balanced, with a rounded texture and fine tannins.

Chelsea
Classy and elegant wine with a elegant nuance that rewards careful consideration. The smooth, smooth mouthfeel and delicate lasting impression make it a pleasure to sip, even as the soft smoke whispers and leathery suggestions add intensity and nuance.
Theoodor
Aged to perfection, this wine is a testament to the power of 80-year-old vines. The nose is a deep tapestry of herbaceous and vegetal notes, with crushed rock, chalk, and smoky undertones. On the palate, the savory hints are elevated by a lush minerality, with wet stone, quinine, and licorice adding density and complexity. The zest is well-balanced, and the tannins provide a smooth, polished texture. Overall, this wine is a masterclass in harmony and refinement, with a long, fulfilling finish.
Keelor
The 2015 vintage edges out the 2017 in this wine, thanks to the warmer climate. The juice is likely lighter and more refined, making it a better fit for this vintage. It was a comforting surprise to enjoy it solo as visiting Germany with Shu.

Jean Foillard Morgon 'Cuvée Corcelette' is praised for its elegance and complexity, with flavors of red berries, earthy undertones, and a smooth, silky texture. Some find its minerality and crisp acidity refreshing, while others appreciate its rich fruit profile and subtle smokiness. The wine's balance and refinement are consistently highlighted, though a few note a lack of intensity in certain vintages.
This Jean Foillard Morgon 'Cuvée Corcelette' is a magnificent expression of Gamay from the Morgon appellation in Beaujolais. The nose reveals aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, black pepper, and a hint of violet. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and balanced, with a rounded texture and fine tannins. Anise, earthy notes, and a hint of bramble fill the finish. This is an excellent, age-worthy wine that captures the essence of traditional Beaujolais.
