What the web is saying

J Dusi The Don is a rich, full-bodied wine praised for its Tuscan style and complex flavors of plum, forest floor, cherry, and black fruit. While some appreciate its high alcohol and tannin content, others find it less intense than expected. The wine's aromas and finish are well-regarded, making it a satisfying choice for both casual and discerning drinkers.

Voss Experts4.5

J Dusi The Don presents a deep garnet hue, indicative of its robust character. The nose unfolds with an intricate bouquet of ripe blackberries, cassis, and a hint of forest floor, underscored by subtle notes of cedar and dark chocolate, suggesting well-judged oak integration. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a velvety texture, showcasing layers of black cherry and plum, balanced by firm tannins and a vibrant acidity. The finish is long and persistent, with echoes of spice and a touch of minerality, positioning this wine as a quintessential expression of Paso Robles' terroir.
