The 2020 J Dusi Model M is a quintessential expression of Paso Robles' robust red blends. Deep garnet in hue, the bouquet unfurls with layers of ripe black cherry, cassis, and a whisper of violet, underscored by a subtle smokiness from well-judged oak maturation. On the palate, it is full-bodied and opulent, with velvety tannins framing a core of dark fruit and hints of espresso and dark chocolate. The wine's vibrant acidity provides balance, leading to a long, savory finish with a touch of graphite minerality. This is a compelling, age-worthy wine that showcases the region's potential for complexity and depth.

J Dusi Model M is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of cherry, plum, and licorice. While some appreciate its balance and smooth finish, others find it less impressive for pairings. The wine's jammy quality and affordability are noted, though its complexity varies across vintages. It's a solid choice for those seeking a reliable, everyday red.
