Anjli
A dense, bold wine with a rich, soft texture. The aroma is dominated by blackberry notes, with a note of green pepper undertones. The tannins are substantial, with a grippy feel on the palate. The wine is moderately aged, with a tight, closed backbone that requires patience to unwind. I suspect it may have been aged in smaller French oak barrels, which adds structure to the flavor profile. A good match for robust, full-bodied dishes, such as a grilled steak. To fully appreciate its nuances, it's recommended to decant and allow it to age for a minimum of 6 months.
