Voss Expert4.5/5

Voss Expert tasting note

This Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc presents a pale straw hue with a glint of green. The nose is a precise interplay of zesty lime, freshly cut grass, and elderflower, underscored by a subtle flintiness that speaks to its terroir. On the palate, it reveals a taut structure, with vibrant acidity that enlivens the citrus and green apple core. A whisper of minerality adds depth, leading to a crisp, lingering finish. This wine exemplifies the finesse and purity characteristic of the region, making it an exemplary choice for those seeking a classic expression of Sauvignon Blanc.

Hauts Baigneux Sauvignon Blanc is crafted in the Touraine region of the Loire Valley, where the cool climate and limestone-rich soils enhance the grape's natural acidity and minerality. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh, vibrant character. It showcases classic Sauvignon Blanc aromas of citrus and green apple, with a crisp, clean palate. This wine is intended for immediate enjoyment, offering a refreshing, fruit-forward style that pairs well with seafood and light salads. Its balanced acidity makes it a versatile choice for various dining occasions.
