Refined, introductory Grenache-dominated blend from Halter Ranch, exhibiting a balanced harmony of raspberry, thyme, rosemary, blueberry, vanilla, and blackberry. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, with a subtle touch of black olive. Medium tannins and mild tanginess contribute to a long, gratifying finish. A versatile, weeknight wine tailored for a variety of occasions, and I'm sad to see these bottles go. However, I believe the 2017 vintage is even more impressive.
