I'm not a fan of these convivals. They're not cherry cola.

Rich, dry, and spicy wine that pairs well with a variety of cured meats, notably those with a strong flavor profile.

Complex and multifaceted aroma profile emerges, with whispers of warm spices, dried fruit, and a elegant smokiness. The palate is similarly layered, featuring a spicy kick from black pepper and jalapeño, balanced by the sweetness of blueberry and a accent of earthy undertones.

Voss Experts4.5

Grochau Cellars Convivial presents a vibrant ruby hue, indicative of its youthful exuberance. The nose is a harmonious blend of ripe red cherries, plums, and a whisper of crushed violets. On the palate, the wine unfolds with a medium-bodied structure, showcasing silky tannins and a lively acidity that propels flavors of redcurrants and subtle floral note suggestive of lavender. The finish is charming bursting with red berry fruit and touches of lavender and violets that elevates the wine. After the notes of strawberries and cherries subside, the palate is left with hints of dried herbs.
