Grochau Cellars Convivial Red 2023

Grochau Cellars Convivial 2020 is appreciated for its complex aroma of warm spices, dried fruit, and smokiness. It features a spicy palate with black pepper and jalapeño, balanced by blueberry sweetness and earthy undertones. While some enjoy its rich, dry, and spicy character, others find it lacks the cherry cola flavor they prefer.

Grochau Cellars Convivial presents a vibrant ruby hue, indicative of its youthful exuberance. The nose is a harmonious blend of ripe red cherries, plums, and a whisper of crushed violets. On the palate, the wine unfolds with a medium-bodied structure, showcasing silky tannins and a lively acidity that propels flavors of redcurrants and subtle floral note suggestive of lavender. The finish is charming bursting with red berry fruit and touches of lavender and violets that elevates the wine. After the notes of strawberries and cherries subside, the palate is left with hints of dried herbs.
