I was underwhelmed by this wine, which was hardly noticeable. It reminded me of a cheap, artificial flavor, which was jarring. It didn't seem especially robust, either. I'd been looking forward to trying a sparkling rose and a Malbec sparkling wine, but this one fell short. I'm not sure if it's just not my style, but I do enjoy Malbec and sparkling wine, so I was hoping for a better experience. Overall, it was a disappointing effort.

What the web is saying

Gouguenheim Malbec Bubbles Extra Brut Rosé is praised for its vibrant fruit flavors, notably strawberry and peach, with a crisp, dry finish. While some appreciate its refreshing and lively character, others find it lacking in complexity or too intense. The wine's effervescence and balance of sweetness and acidity are generally well-received, though a few reviews mention artificial or one-dimensional flavors.

Voss Experts3.8

The Gouguenheim Malbec Bubbles Extra Brut Rosé is an exquisite sparkling wine that showcases the unique characteristics of the Malbec grape variety. With its delicate pink hue, this wine offers a visually appealing experience. On the nose, aromas of fresh red berries, such as strawberries and raspberries, dance gracefully with floral notes, creating an enticing bouquet. These vibrant aromatics continue to unfold on the palate, where the wine displays a refreshing acidity and a lively effervescence. The Gouguenheim Malbec Bubbles Extra Brut Rosé is dry and crisp, making it a perfect choice for those who appreciate a more restrained sweetness in their sparkling wines. It offers a harmonious balance between fruitiness and acidity, resulting in a well-rounded and elegant mouthfeel. This wine pairs wonderfully with a variety of dishes, including seafood, light salads, and soft cheeses. Its versatility and refreshing nature make it an excellent choice for outdoor gatherings or as an aperitif to kick off a special occasion.
