The 2020 Gallica Cabernet Franc presents a deep garnet hue, revealing a bouquet of blackcurrant, crushed violets, and graphite, underscored by a whisper of green peppercorn. On the palate, this wine showcases a harmonious interplay of ripe plum and savory herbaceousness, supported by fine-grained tannins and a vibrant acidity that lends a refreshing lift. The mid-palate is layered with hints of dark chocolate and cedar, culminating in a long, mineral-driven finish. This wine exemplifies the elegance and complexity of Napa Valley Cabernet Franc, offering both immediate appeal and the potential for graceful aging.

Gallica Cabernet Franc is crafted from grapes grown in the Napa Valley, where the warm climate and well-drained soils foster optimal ripening. This wine showcases the varietal's characteristic elegance and structure. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit's purity, followed by aging in French oak barrels, which imparts subtle spice and enhances complexity. The result is a medium-bodied wine with bright acidity, offering flavors of red berries and herbs. This Cabernet Franc is designed for those who appreciate a balanced and approachable style, suitable for both immediate enjoyment and short-term cellaring.
