Phlox
Rich, gentle grip with a deep, inky hue. A dimensional nose with suggestions of black cherry, black raspberry, and blackberry, matched by gentle accents of smoke, leather, and earth. The palate is full-bodied, with a dry, medium plus acidity and a smooth, medium plus tannin structure. The tail is long and satisfying, with suggestions of clove, black cherry, black raspberry, plum, and bramble lingering on the palate. A truly superb wine.
