Forstreiter is a wine estate in Hollenburg, the southeasternmost district of Krems on the southern bank of the Danube, and has been family-owned since 1868. Meinhard Forstreiter makes the estate’s wines.

The grapes come from environmentally friendly, sustainable cultivation. In 2016, the estate equipped its cellar with modern technology to process the grapes as gently as possible. Natural gravity flow avoids unnecessary pumping, while gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation are followed by maturation on fine lees in large and small wooden barrels or steel tanks. Its wines include Fossil, a blend of Zweigelt and St. Laurent, as well as Grüner Veltliner Ried Kremser Kogl Kremstal DAC and Riesling Krems Kremstal DAC.
On VinoVoss, Forstreiter has 1 wine in stock: 1 white. Their average rating is 3.5 out of 5 from 20 ratings.
