Upon pouring, the Forge Cellars Classique Dry Riesling presents a pale straw color with glints of green. The aromatic profile is a burst of zesty lime, white peach, and a pronounced minerality reminiscent of wet slate. On the palate, the wine is crisp and vibrant, with notes of green apple and citrus fruits harmoniously balanced by an underpinning mineral backbone. The acidity is lively and well-integrated, leading to a clean, refreshing finish. This Riesling is a versatile companion at the dining table, complementing dishes from grilled seafood to spicy Asian fare. It is a genuine representation of the Finger Lakes' potential to produce world-class Rieslings.
