This Aglianico offers rich complexity with blackberry, plum, leather, and forest floor notes, praised for its polished finish and full-bodied character. While most appreciate its structured tannins and aging potential, some find variability between vintages and note occasional musty undertones. It pairs well with hearty dishes, though younger bottles may benefit from decanting.
This Riserva presents a deep garnet hue, indicative of its maturity and depth. The bouquet unfolds with layers of black cherry, dried plum, and a hint of leather, underscored by subtle notes of cedar and earthy minerality. On the palate, it reveals a robust structure, with firm tannins and a vibrant acidity that provide a harmonious balance. The mid-palate is rich with flavors of dark chocolate and a whisper of dried herbs, leading to a long, elegant finish. This wine exemplifies the classic style of Campania, offering both complexity and finesse.
