Luscious and full-bodied wine with a dense color, reflective of the Priorat region. The medium body is polished by a spicy and earthy character, with a nose that is both fruity and herbaceous. The tasting is complex, with the spicy layers of the wine augmented by the savory undertones of grilled meats, such as steak, and the creamy touch of a well-aged pecorino cheese.

Full bodied and detailed wine with a deep, supple texture. The suggestions of cherry and spice are well-balanced, but the in total feeling is somewhat forgettable. The tannins are full-bodied and well-integrated, but the lasting impression is somewhat short-lived. A vintage wine with a certain charm, but not markedly memorable. 3/9/24, vintage '78.
