Voss Expert4.5/5

Voss Expert tasting note

This exquisite sparkling wine from Piedmont showcases a brilliant straw hue with persistent, fine mousse. The nose is an intricate tapestry of green apple, white peach, and brioche, underscored by subtle mineral nuances. On the palate, it reveals a taut, linear structure with vibrant acidity that elegantly frames the complex flavors of citrus zest, almond, and a whisper of honeyed florals. The finish is remarkably long and precise, echoing the wine's refined minerality and autolytic character. This Pas Dosè is a benchmark for Alta Langa, offering a sophisticated expression of its terroir and craftsmanship.

Crafted from the high-altitude vineyards of Alta Langa in Piedmont, this sparkling wine is made using the traditional method. The cool climate and limestone-rich soils contribute to its crisp acidity and mineral backbone. Composed primarily of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the wine undergoes extended aging on the lees, enhancing its complexity and depth. The Pas Dosè style means no dosage is added, resulting in a bone-dry profile that highlights the purity of fruit and the finesse of its bubbles. Ideal for those who appreciate a refined and elegant sparkling wine experience.
