I'm thoroughly impressed with this wine. Received it through the Sunday Times wine club. Not sure why the app claims it's from South Africa, but it's clearly a New Zealand product. I'll definitely be returning it.

Elmstone Sauvignon Blanc is praised for its refreshing, easy-drinking nature with fruity flavors, particularly melon and green apple. While some find it crisp and vibrant, others feel it's pleasant but unremarkable. It's noted for its citrus-driven profile and suitability for casual occasions. The wine is often mistaken for South African, but it's a New Zealand product.
Elmstone Sauvignon Blanc presents a crystalline pale straw hue, indicative of its youthful vibrancy. The nose is a precise symphony of zesty lime, freshly cut grass, and a whisper of white peach, underscored by a subtle minerality that speaks to its terroir. On the palate, the wine is impeccably balanced, showcasing a racy acidity that enlivens the flavors of green apple and gooseberry. The mid-palate reveals a delicate hint of elderflower, leading to a clean, crisp finish with a lingering note of wet stone. This Sauvignon Blanc is a quintessential expression of its varietal, offering both elegance and intensity.
