The 2020 Drumheller Merlot presents a deep garnet hue, indicative of its rich concentration. On the nose, it unveils a layered bouquet of ripe black cherry, plum, and subtle hints of mocha, underscored by a whisper of cedar and forest floor leaf. The palate is medium-bodied with a velvety texture, showcasing a harmonious balance between its supple tannins and vibrant acidity. Flavors of dark berry compote and chocolate are complemented by a touch of spice, leading to a lingering, elegant finish.
