Pleasing journey with friends on a Chapa express train from Lao Cai to Hanoi, capped off by an exciting 2-day climb up Mt Fansipan. A delightful experience, even with a plastic wine glass. A fun trip, and we're already looking forward to our next adventure together.

Donnafugata Sul Vulcano Etna Rosso is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with flavors of cherry, strawberry, and leather. Many appreciate its smooth, elegant texture and complex layers, while some note a slightly firm texture and dry finish. The wine's earthy and spicy undertones, along with its vibrant acidity, make it versatile for pairing with various dishes. Opinions vary on its sweetness and tannin balance.
Donnafugata Sul Vulcano Etna Rosso is an elegant and complex red wine hailing from the Etna region in Sicily, Italy. This wine showcases the unique characteristics of the volcanic soils and the indigenous Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grape variety. On the nose, Sul Vulcano Etna Rosso offers enticing aromas of ripe red berries, cherries, and plums, accompanied by hints of dried herbs and volcanic minerals. The palate is well-structured, with a medium body and balanced acidity, showcasing flavors of red fruits, earthy undertones, and a touch of spice. The volcanic terroir imparts a distinct mineral quality to the wine, adding depth and complexity to its overall profile. The tannins are firm yet refined, providing a pleasant texture and a lingering finish. This wine is best enjoyed with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or aged cheeses. It is recommended to decant it for about 30 minutes before serving to fully appreciate its aromatic complexity.
