Macondo
Rich, full-bodied wine with a deep, concentrated color. The bouquet is highlighted by a rich array of blackberry, blueberry, leather, tobacco, and earthy notes, with gentle subtle flavors of florals and dried herbs. The impression is intense and full, with a smooth, supple mouthfeel and a balanced level of acidity. The finish is long and satisfying, with a understated dryness that lingers. A wine that will be enjoyed again, with a history of being consumed in 2017.
Aythami
A solid and structured wine with a rich, dried fruit character.
Weinrebe
Wine that's been left to mature for far too long, its dark, decadent color and subtle rim variation belie a sophisticated aroma of wet rubber, licorice, and asphalt, with nuances of concentrated chocolate, blackberries, and dry herbs. The tones in the mouth are similarly nuanced, with a medium tartness and high tannins that linger on the palate. but it may not be to everyone's taste, it could pair well with robust, gamey dishes like roast lamb or goat. A wine that's certainly not for the faint of heart, but one that demands attention and respect.
