Wine Description:
Domaine de la Solitude Cuvée Barberini is a Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc produced in the warm, sunny Rhone Valley in the south of France. The wine is a blend of white varieties that include Roussanne, Grenache Blanc and Clairette grapes. The Roussanne harvest is fermented in new barrels and the Grenache and Clairette grapes in vats. This wine is aged for around eight months on fine lees before being blended. The Roussanne provides the opulence, Grenache Blanc stone fruit flavors and spice, whilst Clairette gives the wine freshness to craft a complex and well-balanced wine.

This cuvée "Les Figuiers" comes from old vines planted on limestone soils, from which it derives its freshness and liveliness. Exclusively aged in oak barrels on the lees, the wine has acquired a beautiful harmonious structure through this process. Subtlety, aromatic richness, fruit, and liveliness: optimal conditions for delighting the taste buds. A interplay of flavors of yellow fruits, almonds, and floral notes with a salty finish. A drop that you can open today for the pleasure of your guests, but that can also be aged for more than a decade.
