Domaine d'Ouréa Vacqueyras

Domaine d'Ouréa Vacqueyras presents a complex profile of peppery spice, herbal notes, and licorice undertones, with many praising its smooth texture and well-integrated tannins. While some appreciate its layered complexity and silky finish, others find certain vintages unbalanced or question its value proposition.

The wine opens with inviting aromas of ripe red berries, garrigue herbs, and a touch of spice. On the palate, it is both graceful and profound, showcasing the wisdom of its old-vine Grenache. Layers of red plum, blackberry, and subtle floral tones are supported by fine tannins and a mineral backbone. A whisper of Cinsault and Carignan adds lift and freshness, while Mourvèdre and Syrah contribute depth and structure. This Vacqueyras is a masterful balance of elegance and power, offering an enduring finish that captures the soul of the region.
