This Barbera d'Alba presents a vibrant ruby hue, offering an enticing bouquet of ripe red cherries, plum, and a hint of violet, underscored by subtle notes of anise and earth. On the palate, it reveals a medium-bodied structure with bright, mouthwatering acidity that is a hallmark of the Barbera grape, complemented by fine-grained tannins. The wine's fruit-forward character is balanced by a savory depth, leading to a lingering finish with nuances of dried herbs and a touch of minerality. This is a quintessential expression of Barbera, showcasing the elegance and vibrancy of the Alba terroir.

Demarie Barbera d'Alba is crafted from Barbera grapes grown in the rolling hills of the Alba region in Piedmont, Italy. The vineyard benefits from a continental climate with warm days and cool nights, promoting balanced ripening. This wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh fruit character, followed by a period of aging in oak barrels to add complexity and structure. The result is a medium-bodied red wine with vibrant acidity, showcasing flavors of red cherries and plums, complemented by subtle spice notes. It is designed for immediate enjoyment but can also benefit from short-term cellaring.
