Classy palate, marred by a flawed execution. My previous tasting with a 2015 Napa Valley CS was a standard issue, yet it was Sonoma County, a region I find challenging to appreciate. Despite the label and branding, I've come to accept the limitations of Napa Valley CS. Alas, this wine's bold black fruit, cohesive acidity, and tannins are tempered by a dominant vanilla flavor, a nuance of ethanol, and a lack of nuance. A disappointing experience.
