Rich, full-bodied red blend with a smooth, round finish. A captivating quality for the price.

What the web is saying

Clos La Coutale Cahors Malbec is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with notes of blackberry, plum, and earthy undertones. Many appreciate its smooth texture and balanced tannins, while some find it lacks depth. The wine's complexity and aging potential are highlighted, making it a versatile choice for various dishes. However, a few reviews mention a lack of sophistication and muted flavors.

Voss Experts3.8

This Clos La Coutale Cahors Malbec offers a ripe and juicy nose of blackberry, blueberry, and plum fruits, with a subtle hint of spice. On the palate, this full-bodied wine has a ripe, fleshy texture, with flavors of dark fruits, forest floor, and herbs. The finish is long and savory, with a touch of dark chocolate. Enjoy with beef and lamb dishes, or aged cheeses.
