Trip to Door County, Wisconsin, with Bonfire Babes, was a delightful experience.

Intense red with a strong presence, emitting a pungent aroma of ethanol on the nose. The mouthfeel is recognized by intense heat, with dark cherry and tobacco undertones. The tannins are robust, but the bracing quality is sharp. Despite its bold nature, the wine remains remarkably enjoyable, making it a worthwhile return.

Decent cab with a plum and jam-like nose, but a sharp tannic taste that overshadows its otherwise agreeable aroma.

What the web is saying

Cline Cabernet Sauvignon offers a rich, full-bodied experience with a complex blend of oak, plum, and cherry flavors. While some appreciate its smooth tannins and elegant finish, others find the tannins too sharp or the fruit profile inconsistent. The wine is noted for its robust aroma and layered texture, making it a versatile choice for pairing. Overall, it provides good value for its price.

Voss Experts3.5

This Cline Cabernet Sauvignon displays ripe fruit aromas of blackberry and cassis, with hints of toasty oak and dried herbs. On the palate, it is plush and full-bodied, with intense flavors of dark fruit, toasted oak, and vanilla. The finish is long and lingering, with balanced tannins and a touch of spice. An excellent choice for steak night.
