Clean Slate Riesling 2023

Singularly distinctive German Riesling with a captivating flavor profile and a crisp, refreshing body. The nose reveals a harmonious blend of plum, apricot, and melon, during the palate is highlighted by a crisp crispness and a slate-like minerality. The wine's semi-dry, light-bodied tactile quality and high crispness make it a standout, with a bold mineral body that adds intensity and complexity. even as it may not conform to traditional Riesling styles, its unique characteristics make it a memorable and exciting experience. However, it falls short of my expectations, ranking as my least favorite German Riesling to date.

Cohesive blend of Mosel's signature flavors, with a youthful yet smooth character that will only improve with age. The nose is a symphony of white florals, island citrus, and delicate flavors of slate rock, meanwhile the taste is a masterful stability of flavors. A delightful and enjoyable wine that is sure to please.

Lively and vibrant wine that pairs well with casual outdoor gatherings, its understated undertones of lime and passion fruit evoke a sense of serenity and tranquility, meanwhile the touch of wet stone adds a touch of sophistication and elegance.
