Acdc1002
38-year-old Bordeaux vintage that has held up remarkably well, despite being an off-year. Still a little past its prime, but its grip is strong. The tannins are grippy, but the primary undertones are fading. The first few sips reveal a musty aroma, but as it opens up, floral flavors emerge, bringing leather, tobacco, cedar, cassis, mushroom, graphite, pepper, and subtle flavors of cherry. A truly fantastic wine to revisit.
