The Sauternes offers a predominantly fruit-forward profile with nuances of apricot and peach, as well as some tropical undertones. as it does not exhibit the same level of honey, honeysuckle, and nectar viscosity that I typically associate with Sauternes, it still maintains a certain level of fruitiness.
Tshego
Certain amount of patience would be beneficial in terms of aging, as well as a bit more time to allow for the release of oxygen. The nose is currently experiencing a bit of a pungent character, which may dissipate with further exposure to air. The sensation is centered around by a mix of Semillon grape varieties, consisting of apricot, mushroom, and honey notes. The wine's versatility makes it ideal for a range of applications, from sweet and comforting to savory and spicy. It would pair well with a variety of dishes, highlighting seafood, importantly crab and glazed salmon, as well as sweet treats.
Elstorme
Light, bracing wine with a elegant nose featuring tones of botrytis honey and hazelnuts. The flavor is a lighter, more watery version of Sauternes, with sweet grapefruit and melon hints polished by a dash of waxy bitterness. Overall, a charming but unremarkable wine.

Château La Tour Blanche Emotions de la Tour Blanche Sauternes is appreciated for its fruit-forward profile, featuring apricot, peach, and tropical notes. While some find it lacks traditional Sauternes' honey and viscosity, others enjoy its versatility and pairing potential. Opinions vary on its balance and acidity, with some noting a pungent nose and others praising its sweet, floral finish. Overall, it's a charming but somewhat unremarkable wine.
This Sauternes presents a luminous golden hue, indicative of its opulent nature. The bouquet unfurls with layers of apricot compote, honeyed quince, and a delicate hint of saffron, underscored by a subtle botrytis character. On the palate, it is unctuously textured yet impeccably balanced, with vibrant acidity providing lift to the rich, honeyed sweetness. Notes of candied citrus peel and toasted almond emerge, leading to a lingering, harmonious finish. This wine exemplifies the classic Sauternes style, offering both immediate pleasure and potential for graceful aging, making it a benchmark for the region's sweet wines.
