Varaporn Limites
2018 vintage was not captivating for me, and I had expressed my intention to refrain from purchasing again. However, upon revisiting my wine collection, I discovered Chateau de Parenchere Cuvee Raphael 2016. The 2-year aging process undoubtedly contributed to its distinct character. 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 16 months in oak (30% new); a deep, opulent color with aromas of deep chocolate, spices, vanilla, plum, and blackberry. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, with soft tannins and a enjoyable finish.
