Voss Expert tasting note
On the nose, aromas of ripe red and dark fruit, cassis, and jammy blackberry jam mingle with sweet baking spices and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full and silky, with a generous, structured mid-palate, and a long, complex finish.

Charles Krug Family Reserve Generations is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with prominent dark fruit flavors like blackberry and cherry, complemented by oak and vanilla notes. Tannins are generally smooth and well-balanced. While some appreciate its complexity and depth, others find it slightly too acidic. The wine pairs well with hearty dishes like steak and is noted for its long, satisfying finish.
This full-bodied Charles Krug Family Generations Reserve is a classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. On the nose, aromas of ripe red and dark fruit, cassis, and jammy blackberry jam mingle with sweet baking spices and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full and silky, with a generous, structured mid-palate, and a long, complex finish. Concentrated flavors of blackberry, dark cherry, and cedar linger with hints of sweet forest floor, mocha, and a hint of earthiness. A classic and elegant wine with a powerful yet well-balanced structure. Enjoy now or cellar for the next 10 years.
