Niyosha
Smooth, classy vintage with a subtle sheen, evocative of Vaseline and lanolin. The nose is dominated by honey and peach, with a dash of citrus and a touch of chalkiness. The zest is refreshing, and the touch is understated, making it a satisfying imbiding experience. The 2009 vintage is a good choice for those aiming for a mellow, easy-drinking wine.
Melly
Intense and polished wine with a pale yellow hue, accompanied by a elegant green undertone. Its soft nose reveals a soft essence of stone fruits, with undertones of almonds and grapefruit. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with a round mouthfeel that displays its stone fruit and almond notes. The brightness is low, and the aftertaste is short, leaving a staying impression.

Refreshing and delicious Vermentino from Heathcote, Victoria, that is definitely worth considering.

Refreshing and delicious Vermentino from Heathcote, Victoria, that is definitely worth considering.
Chalmers Vermentino is praised for its refreshing citrus and stone fruit flavors, with hints of almond and minerality. While some find it smooth and fresh, others note excessive sweetness in certain vintages. The wine is often described as vibrant and lively, with a medium body and well-balanced tanginess, making it a suitable choice for seafood and salads.
The Chalmers Vermentino presents a pale straw hue with a glint of green, indicative of its youthful vibrancy. On the nose, it exudes an aromatic bouquet of white peach, lemon zest, and a hint of saline minerality, characteristic of its coastal terroir. The palate is lively and textured, showcasing a harmonious interplay of crisp acidity and subtle phenolic grip, which enhances its refreshing nature. Flavors of green apple and pear are underscored by a whisper of almond, leading to a clean, lingering finish. This Vermentino exemplifies the varietal's potential in expressing both finesse and complexity.
