Refined and elegant wine with a consistent harmony of backbone and finesse, presenting the best qualities of Barolo. The tannins have mellowed, yielding a velvety and graceful sensation that rewards patience and longevity.

Multi faceted and thought provoking Barolo with a lush and layered profile, featuring a layered garnet color and a nose that is both intense and nuanced, with a wide range of fruit and spice notes, containing cherry, plum, and violet, alongside whispers of minerals, tar, and leather. The impression is dry, with a medium body and high acidity, and a high tannin level, but is even by a med intensity of flavors, with a chewy touch and a long fruity aftertaste. Overall, a very good but young wine that shows great promise, but could benefit from further cellaring to reach its full potential.

Very disappointing Barolo from Public Image Ltd, with a magnum edition that failed to impress. The bottle was not corked or showing any classic flaws, but remained closed and austere even after a long period of airing. The nose was influenced by by leather, coffee, wood, tea, and fruit, but lacked sufficient strength to meet my expectations. A disappointing experience, indeed. Damned.
