Brezza Cannubi Barolo

Aged Barolo from Barolo MGA "Cannubi"

12-year-old Barolo, still remarkably tannic, with a nose of mineraly and herbal notes, and a dry flavor of stone fruit, leather, and herbs. A well-rounded and intriguing wine, but how long can it last?

Rich, full-bodied red wine with a dense garnet hue, featuring a intricate mix of suggestions showcasing cherry, pomegranate, and florals. Initially, the wine shows a slightly dusty and astringent quality, but as it opens up, a vibrant red cherry and minty touches emerge, adding a surprising nuance to the palate. The wine's crispness is high, and the tannins are rustic, but the follow through is long and satisfying. The wine's finale is well-balanced, with a light touch of tar that adds a touch of complexity. The wine is aged for 13.5% of its total alcohol content.
